Achieving happiness that sticks involves more than just fleeting moments of joy; it's about cultivating a sense of contentment and well-being that endures through life's ups and downs. This type of lasting happiness often stems from a combination of factors, including meaningful relationships, a sense of purpose, and the ability to appreciate the small moments. It's also about resilience, the capacity to bounce back from difficulties, and the practice of gratitude, which shifts our focus from what we lack to what we have.


Additionally, setting realistic goals and pursuing activities that align with our values and strengths can greatly enhance our sense of fulfillment. True, enduring happiness doesn't come from external achievements or possessions but from an inner state of peace and satisfaction. It's a journey, not a destination, requiring deliberate effort and sometimes a change in perspective. Embracing this journey with an open heart and a mindful attitude can lead to a richer, more meaningful life.

Who am I, Really? Who is My True Self?

Many women will ponder just this question and then quickly dismiss it to get on with other activities. These questions feel uncomfortable and attaining the next thing feels better. But is that the key? Are you someone who always needs to be chasing something, or just doing something, so you don't feel that low level chronic sense of dis-ease that comes when you're not chasing that next goal?

Make more Money. Get a raise. Start a business.

Do more, be more, have more. There's a misnomer in our culture that describes "success" in physical and material terms.  There seems to be this persistent (almost) admonishment to keep up with others. Get a higher degree. Go for that next promotion. Become an entrepreneur. Don't stop attaining. You must keep going, going, going, no matter what.

It's all so Exhausting.

When does it end? How much does a person need to be happy, to feel satisfied, to experience joy and fulfillment because you believe these are the feelings you've been chasing after all along? Sure, there is a financial aspect to it - you have to live - but is it a certain dollar amount that brings happiness that sticks? The answer of course is No.
